Physician Profile: Fran Conway, RN
Fran Conway has been a Registered Nurse at NYH for over 26 years and is presently the Director of the Holistic Health Center at the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. She is also a Registered Vascular Technologist. Ms. Conway is a 2002 graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where she received certification as a Holistic Health Counselor. Fran went on to receive her certification in Prana Yoga (Hatha 1) with Jeff Migdow M.D. in 2005 as a Registered Yoga Teacher. In 2008, Fran completed a certificate course in Gentle Yoga Teacher Training at the Integral Yoga Institute.
Fran is a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner, trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. She is certified to teach the Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster workshop developed by Peggy Huddleston.
Her next venture is to take a teacher training course in Restorative Yoga, which is particularly beneficial to the oncology patient and their family.
